Face-to-Face Tutoring

STEMworks provides free peer-to-peer learning services to all GW students, regardless of major. While we cannot support every GW course, we will try our best to match you with one of our available tutors and help you get the support you need for academic success. We specialize in supporting Accountancy, Economics, and the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), and we also provide support for a wide-range of non-STEM courses. Please fill out our form to signup for individual tutoring, start/join a group study session, or visit one of our drop-in sessions. You don’t need an appointment or reservation to participate in the drop-in sessions.

Online Tutoring

Smarthinking is a 24/7 online tutoring program available to all GW students. To access Smarthinking, go to http://services.smarthinking.com. Enter the username GWUSMART and password ONLINETUTOR to create your account and choose from various tutoring options, including drop-in sessions, off-line questions, and scheduled tutoring sessions.
